Theology Night Meet the big issues of Christian faith in a series of three seminars at the BeBright Centre led by Steve Tomkins. The first seminar tackles the subject Who was Jesus?

Deptford Deanery Ascension Day Service at 8pm at The Ascension, Blackheath, Dartmouth Row, SE10 7QZ. Come and celebrate the ascension of Jesus and the promise of the Holy Spirit n this glorious Georgian church, assisted by their fantastic choir. Followed by light refreshments and a glass of fizz.

Iona Evening Service of Prayer at St Catherine’s.

Come and learn some Iona songs from around the world and take part in a creative Celtic liturgy of music and prayer stations, as we pray for our community and our world.

Deptford Deanery Prayer Walk (Family-Friendly)

Starts at St John’s at 10am (Lewisham Way, SE8 4DL) and ends at St Peter’s at 12pm. Join us for a prayer walk around the Deanery, in the company of Bishop Karowei. The route will be approximately 3 miles, giving us time to walk together, pray together and spend time together. On arrival at St Peter’s there will be some light refreshments & a chance to climb up the church tower.

Pentecost Service at Southwark Cathedral. The culmination of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer series and will be Street Pastors’ preacher Les Isaac.

Coach leaves from the church at 8.45am

St Catherine’s Big Day Out. This year we will be visiting Romney, Hythe & Dimchurch Railway. These are one-third size full steam & deisel locomotives that travel 13.5 miles of track across Romney Marsh from Hythe to Dungeness through one of the largest expanses of shingle in the worls and a National Nature Reserve.
