Hatcham

Purpose:

To consider all aspects of the Worship of St Catherine’s and the spiritual development of church members

Scope:

Sunday and Weekday services; Praise and Prayer, healing services; Bible study; music; retreats and welcoming new worshippers  Reporting directly to the Vicar.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Purpose:

To consider all aspects of work with children and young people in St Catherine’s

Scope:

Crèche, Junior Church, servers, receiving communion in both kinds

Reporting to PCC.

Purpose:

To consider the upkeep of the Church building, its furnishings and land

Scope:

Church building; furnishings, flowers, vestments and linen; churchyard

Reporting to PCC.

Purpose:

To consider the outreach of the Church in the community and beyond.

Scope:

Links with other churches overseas and Missionary societies, raising money for them; links with centre and local community including Telegraph Hill Festival; work with other churches of the Deanery and Churches Together in Nunhead and Hatcham

All groups are sub groups of PCC and accountable to it except the worship Group which reports directly to the Vicar
