The Festival is created each year by an informal group of local people passionate about building a vibrant and inclusive community in their local neighbourhood. A public meeting is held each year at which volunteers offer to arrange events. Some events are long term features of the Festival, others happen just for one year.
A core group of people provide central organisation to attempt to ensure the smooth running of the Festival as a whole.
Now in its 16th year the festival brings together thousands of local residents to
celebrate home-
One of the highlights each year is our Community Show which involves over 200 local children, young people and adults. This year's production was 'Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber' with performance on the 13th and 14th March. Please visit the Telegraph Hill Festival Web site for more information.
The dates for next year's Festival have now been finalised and it is to take place between Friday 25th March 2011 and Sunday 3 April 2011. Please put those dates in your diaries.
